Punjab Milk Foods Inc is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our corporate office. The individual will be responsible for a variety of HR activities and will report directly to the HR Manager.
1. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Provide support for payroll processing by verifying employee timecards and creating reports for bi-weekly payroll for Canada and US.
· Provide frontline support to employees daily (company policies, employee relations, annual programs).
· Manage full-cycle recruitment, including posting job ads, screening candidates, conduction interviews and reference checks, extending offers for all open positions in Canada & the US.
· Supporting training through scheduling and managing training documentation, attendance tracking, certifications, etc.
· Maintaining and updating the HRIS system, as well as physical files on a regular basis.
· File and organize HR related documentation.
· Assist in the administering and monitoring of engagement and retention initiatives.
· Employee uniforms management with service provider, including but not limited to ordering new uniforms, and solving shortage issues.
· Ensure compliance with appropriate legislations and provincial employment requirements.
· Other related duties as assigned.
2. Knowledge and Skills:
· Post-secondary education in Human Resources.
· At least 3 years of work experience in a Human Resources function.
· Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Highly detail-oriented
· Patience and good listening skills
· Ability to solve problems individually
· Ability to work well with others
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Multilingual (English and Punjabi/Hindi) an asset.
Hours:
· Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with occasional evenings.
