GAJRELA PHYLLO TARTS

GAJRELA PHYLLO TARTS

Ingredients

1 pack Nanak Gajrela

2 tablespoons milk

Oil for brushing the pan and phyllo

4 phyllo pastry sheets

Garnish

Rose petals

Chopped pistachio

Icing sugar

METHOD TO PREPARE

Preheat the oven to 350 F

  • Warm the Gajrela with a 2 tablespoons of milk to make it creamy

  • Using scissors, cut each rectangular phyllo sheet into 12 squares. You can layer all the sheets together and cut it all at ones. 

  • Grease a muffin tin with some cooking spray. Line each muffin cup of the tray with 4 sheets of phyllo. For this get 4 sheets and turn each sheet on top of the other to form a star patten. Place on the muffin tray and push down gently with your fingers to form a cup, Repeat till all the 12 muffin cups have phyllo. 

  • Fill each cup with 2-3 tablespoons of Gajrela Filling filling. 

  • Fold down the rest of the phyllo pastry on top on the filling roughly. The crinkly tops will crisp up in the oven

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes. Till the phyllo is golden on top. 

  • Garnish with Rose and pistachio and a light dusting of powdered sugar

  • Serve immediately.
