CARDAMOM & ORANGE GHEE BISCUIT

Ingredients
½ cup powdered sugar
½ cup ghee
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoons of cardamom powder
1 teaspoon yogurt
¼ teaspoon baking soda
Zest of 1 orange
1 cup (125 grams all-purpose flour)
¼ teaspoon salt
Sliced cherries
METHOD TO PREPARE
Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees. Like a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, add powdered sugar and ghee. Whip 30–50 times till it is fluffy and the color is pale yellow.
Add cardamom powder, yogurt, vanilla, baking soda, and orange zest, and whisk till everything is well combined.
Add in the flour and mix until it comes together into a soft cookie dough. You can use your hands to knead it if desired.
Divide the dough into 12 to 15 equal parts. Roll them into a ball, flatten slightly, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Using your index finger, lightly press the center of the cookie. Top with sliced cherries and bake for 12–14 minutes.
