A HEALTHY FAT FOR A HEALTHY YOU

MOLTEN LAVA CAKE
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ tsp baking powder
½ cup castor sugar
4 tbsp Nanak ghee (melted)
½ cup milk
1½ tsp vanilla extract
4 small chocolate pieces
METHOD TO PREPARE
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F)
2. Grease 4 ramekins with ghee and lightly dust with cocoa powder.
3. In a bowl, sift together flour, caster sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
4. Pour in melted ghee, milk, and vanilla extract.
5. Stir until you get a smooth, lump-free batter. Don't overmix.
6. Divide the batter evenly into the 4 ramekins.
7. Place one piece of chocolate in the center of each ramekin and lightly press it down.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes.
9. The edges should be set, but the center should remain jiggly.
10. Let the cakes rest for 1-2 minutes, then gently run a knife around the edges and invert onto a plate.
11. Serve warm with a dusting of powdered sugar.
