Paneer Fries

Ingredients

200g paneer (cut into long strips)

1/3 cup corn starch

2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp salt

A drizzle of olive oil

Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Sriracha sauce (for serving)

METHOD TO PREPARE

Prep the Paneer:
Cut the paneer into long strips, about 1-inch wide.

  1. Coat the Paneer:
    In a bowl, add the corn starch, garlic powder, chili powder, and salt. Toss the paneer strips in the corn starch mixture until evenly coated.

  2. Drizzle with Olive Oil:
    Lightly drizzle olive oil over the coated paneer strips. Toss to ensure they are well coated.

  3. Air Fryer Method:
    Preheat your air fryer to 425°F (220°C). Place the paneer strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.
    Air fry for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden and crispy.

    Oven Method:
    Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the paneer strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the paneer is crispy and golden.

  4. Serve:
    Once cooked, remove the paneer from the air fryer or oven and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.

  5. Enjoy:
    Serve hot with a side of sriracha sauce for dipping.
