CHEESE PANEER GHOTALA

Ingredients

1 cup paneer, grated

1 tbsp oil

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

1/4 tsp asafetida

1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

1/2 cup bell pepper, finely chopped

1 cup tomato, finely chopped

Salt to taste

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp pav bhaji masala

1/2 tsp red chili powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1/2 cup water (to adjust consistency)

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated

1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped

1/2 tsp kasoori methi

1 tbsp butter

Pav (buttered and toasted, for serving)

METHOD TO PREPARE

Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds & asafetida. Sauté for a few seconds.

Add chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste. Sauté until translucent and the raw smell goes.

Add chopped bell peppers and tomatoes, and cook until they soften and the oil starts separating.

Add turmeric, red chili powder, pav bhaji masala, coriander powder, and salt. Cook the masalas well.

Stir in the grated paneer and mix thoroughly. If it looks too dry, add water to bring it together.

Add grated cheese and let it melt into the mixture, creating a creamy, rich texture.

Add chopped coriander leaves, kasoori methi, and butter. Mix everything well.

Serve hot with buttered & toasted pav.
