PANEER PAN FRIED SLIDERS
150 g Nanak paneer, cut into 2-inch slices
½ cup besan
½ tsp red chili powder, adjust to taste
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Water (to make batter)
Oil, for pan-frying
For assembling:
4 slider buns
Sriracha mayo (mix mayo + sriracha to taste)
Lettuce leaves
Sliced cucumber
METHOD TO PREPARE
Soak Paneer cubes in hot water for 2-3 minutes. Drain the water. Pat the paneer dry.
In a bowl, mix besan, red chili powder, turmeric, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add just enough water to make a thick batter.
Dip each paneer slice in the besan mix, making sure it's coated well on all sides.
Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick pan. Layer the paneer and cook the on medium heat until golden and crisp on both sides. Set aside.
Slice and lightly toast the buns in the same pan for extra flavor
Spread sriracha mayo on the buns. Layer with lettuce, cucumber slices, and the paneer slices. Serve!
