Avocado, Chickpea Papadi Chaat

Ingredients

½ cup nanak yogurt

½ teaspoon kashmiri lal mirch

1 teaspoon cumin powder

½ teaspoon kala namak

1 plate worth papadi

1  potato boiled, peeled and cubed

1 cup cooked chickpeas

1 avocado cubed

¼ cup roasted peanuts

½ a pomegranate deseeded

¼ cup tamarind chutney

¼ cup green chutney

½ spiced yogurt

A few pinches of chaat masala

½ cup sev

Freshly chopped cilantro

Method to Prepare

Make the spiced yogurt by combining ½ cup nanak yogurt, with kashmiri lal mirch, cumin powder, and kala namak, stir till everything is well combined and uniform in texture. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Assemble the papadi in a large plate. Arrange the papadi and then layer with cubed potatoes, chickpeas, avocado, peanuts and pomegranate.Sprinkle a little chaat masala. Drizzle tamarind and green chutney and finish of with spiced yogurt.

Garnish with sev, freshly chopped cilantro and some more pomegranate. Serve immediately.
