Ingredients

Nanak Veggie Burger

Sesame Buns

Sliced Cheese

Spicy Zough (recipe below)

Quick Pickled onion (recipe below)

Pickled Jalapeno

Green leaf lettuce

Sliced Avocado

Sliced Tomato

Spicy Zough:

1 bunch cilantro

2- 3 jalapeno; deseed if you like less spicy

½ teaspoon cumin powder

½ teaspoon coriander powder

2 cloves garlic of gaelic

2 tablespoon olive oil

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Juice of half a lemon

Salt to taste

¼ cup water

Blend everything till you have a chunky paste that is spreadable. 

Quick Pickled Onion:

1 onion, thinly sliced

1 jalapeno thinly sliced, optional 

½ cup water

½ cup apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon sugar

METHOD TO PREPARE

In a small saucepan, add water, vinegar, salt, and sugar. Heat it over medium heat until the sugar melts.

Pour it over the onions. Let it come to room temperature. Seal it and store it in the refrigerator.

This will last 7–10 days. 

Air fry the burger patties at 400F for 10 minutes, flipping halfway. When there is 1 minute left, add a slice of cheese and let it melt over the burger. 

Toast the burger bun.

Spread a generous amount of Zough.

Layer with lettuce, a burger patty with melted cheese, tomatoes, avocado, pickled onion, and pickled jalapeno.

Serve immediately.
