MAKHANA RAITA

Ingredients

1 cup Makhana / fox nuts

2 cups Yogurt

1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

1/2 tsp red chili powder

1/2 tsp black salt

Salt taste

2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped

1/4 cup pomegranate pearls

1 tbsp roasted cashews, chopped

1 tbsp roasted almonds, chopped

METHOD TO PREPARE

In a pan, add Makhana. Dry roast them until they are crisp.

In a bowl, add yogurt and whisk until it becomes smooth and creamy.

Now add all ingredients to the yogurt and mix it well.

Serve immediately.

Note: Add Makhana in the yogurt just before serving, else it will become soggy and doesn’t taste good.
