YOGURT PICNIC SANDWICH

YOGURT PICNIC SANDWICH

Ingredients

1 jar Nanak dahi, hung overnight to drain  

Herb yogurt :

½ of the hung Nanak yogurt

2 tablespoons cream cheese (optional)

1 tablespoon olive oil 

Handful of chopped herbs - cilantro, basil

1 teaspoon italian seasoning

Salt and pepper

Cucumber, thinly sliced into rounds

Green chutney

Spicy yogurt:

½ of the hung Nanak yogurt

2 tablespoons cream cheese (optional)

1 tablespoon olive oil 

½ red peppers chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon red chilli flakes

1 tablespoon sriracha

1 tablespoon ketchup

Salt and pepper

8-10 white bread with corners cut

METHOD TO PREPARE
Herb yogurt sandwiches:

Mix all the herb yogurt ingredients in a small bowl until well combined.

Spread the yogurt mixture on a white bread,  arrange cucumber slices. Spread green chutney on the other slide and close it. 

Cut it on a diagonal to make little triangles. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator if you plan to serve it later. 


Spicy Yogurt Sandwiches:

Mix all the ingredients for the spicy yogurt mixture in a small bowl until well combined.

Spread the mixture on a slice of bread. Spread sriracha on the other slice. 

Cut it into little squares.

Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator if you plan to serve it later.
